The FlexiLink app

What stays on your PC

• The links you open. FlexiLink looks at each link only to decide which browser opens it. Links are never sent, stored or logged – unless you run FlexiLink with --log yourself, which writes a diagnostic log to your own PC.
• Your settings and rules. They are saved in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FlexiLink\config.yaml on your PC and nowhere else.
• Your browsers and profiles. FlexiLink reads their names and pictures from your PC to show them in the picker. This information never leaves your PC.

Update checks and your license

FlexiLink contacts api.flexilink.app for two things: to tell you about new versions and to activate and confirm your license. It does so about once a day, and when you click Check for updates or Activate. These requests contain:

• An installation ID – a stable identifier calculated from your Windows installation. It does not contain your name, email address, links, browsing history, browser profiles or settings. It stays the same so we can tell that requests come from the same PC. We use it to offer the right update and to check your license – not to track you.
• Your license key, once you have entered one.
• The FlexiLink version you are running.
• Your IP address, as with any request. Server logs keep it, together with the installation ID, for a limited time, for security and troubleshooting.

They never include your links, rules, accounts or browsing history. For each installation ID, the service keeps when it was first seen (the start of your trial), the version it last reported, and which license is active on it. You can turn off automatic update checks in Settings – the daily license check continues – and updates are never downloaded or installed without you choosing to.

No analytics, no ads

FlexiLink contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising code.

This website

flexilink.app doesn’t use cookies or tracking scripts. Like any web server, it may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after a short time.

Purchases

Our Merchant of Record, PayPro Global Inc., specializes in selling software online and handles your payment through a secure, encrypted checkout. You can pay by credit card, PayPal, bank transfer or other payment methods, depending on your location. After payment is completed, your license key is sent automatically by email.

PayPro Global processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and country so we can send your license key and provide support. We don’t receive your card details.
